Great place

Beautiful cabin in a great location! Our family had an amazing time and would definitely come back.

Spacious cabin and yard located in a quiet community. Host is very responsive to any questions and provides tons of information on things to do in the area. Movies, Yard games, board games and a pool table are perfect for rainy days or just a relaxing day in!

This was a great place for our group of 5 to stay during a trip to see Luray and the Shenandoah National Park. We particularly enjoyed using the fire pit and the hot tub outside after coming back home for the day. We also appreciated Dolly's recommendations for restaurants, activities, etc. during our time here. Would definitely recommend!

Bottom line up front: this is nice property, well maintained, tucked away in a beautiful corner of the Shannondoah Mountain valley. It's a quiet area and the epidemy of country living. Great space for a family getaway to enjoy for any season. Dolly is dynamite host and will go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. If interested, here's more insight on this property. This was our very 1st time using Air BnB, plus it was for a family reunion so I had many reservations about dealing with so many unknowns. Dolly did a great job of reaching out in a timely manner and remained engaged throughout the entire process, beginning to end. If you're looking for high-end luxury living, look elsewhere. This is very nice family style home in the country with more than you'd expect but not glamorous "Kardashian" type accommodation. Getting on the river was a goal for our visit and the property is about 1500 ft away from Shannondoah River Outfitters (which is also a great business). It's about ~7 miles to Luray Caverns via scenic drive which was also on our list. BTW, an awesome MUST see! Plenty of things to do around the house (board games, pool, hot tub, fire pit, and yard space for whatever you have in mind. Great place, great value, hope you enjoy it as much as our family did. We had a great stay! Beautiful location and tons to do in the area. The home was spacious and comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Dolly’s Luray cabin. The cabin was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed playing corn hole and pool and sitting around the fire pit. We would definitely stay again on future visits to Luray.

My friends and I were visiting Shenandoah National Park and this place was perfect! It's a short drive to the park and Luray Caverns and just the town in general if you need to make a run to the supermarket or other needs. She provided all the basic things you need and is very welcoming by suggesting things to do around the area or places to eat or just checking in to see if we were comfortable. She was also very flexible when we needed just a little more time to check out at the last minute. We will book this again if we are back around the area again!

It’s a perfect cabin rental with enough bedrooms to accommodate few couples on a weekend getaway. Lucky Dolly’s space was available for my birthday weekend that I planned to celebrate out in Luray with a group of friends. Not only is the cabin self sufficient in terms of entertainment - offering a game pool, corn hole, a fire pit and a patio, TV - it’s also conveniently located near hiking trails, kayaking, caverns, etc. Dolly made the experience even easier with a detailed list of things to do for first Luray/Shenandoah park visitors like myself. Dolly’s was very responsive to quick questions any time of day. As a businesswoman - she was very professional and accommodating.

Dolly’s cabin was an absolute dream of a cabin for a fall weekend getaway for my wife’s 35th birthday. It’s located very close to the town of Luray with access to several stores and restaurants and nestled between different wineries. Everything was easily accessible. We enjoyed our nights with a fire and morning coffee on the porch soaking in the sun. Driving to Shenandoah National Park was a breeze. We did the Old Rag hike, which while amazing, was incredibly challenging. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a challenging hike. Overall, we had an amazing stay and Dolly was always quick to respond to any questions we had. Can’t recommend staying at this place enough!

We had 3 adults and 3 kids, and plenty of room to move around. The pool table and hot tub were a big hit! A good time was had by all. Thanks Dolly.

We just had a girls weekend here. It was wonderful. We could make food in the kitchen, relax in the hot tub, and make s'mores by the fire.

This place is AMAZING!! Dolly was absolutely wonderful--incredibly detailed and helpful info about the cabin, super responsive, and very easy in and out. The house was super clean, comfortable, cozy, and had everything we needed. Incredibly peaceful and serene surroundings, very quiet and relaxing environment in a secluded spot, a hot tub out back, pool table in a spacious basement, awesome campfire pit outside, great kitchen with gas range, grills outside, and washer/dryer downstairs as well! DirectTV with all the channels worked perfectly, electric fireplaces provided great heat and comfort, we had cell service and internet, and the couch in the living room was like a warm cocoon! Couldn't recommend this place and this host more. WHAT A DEAL!!!

We loved our stay here in Luray - would absolutely come back! The cabin was beautiful and it was the perfect location for the hiking we wanted to do.

The house was beautiful and very clean. Plenty of room and great entertainment. Very helpful and professional whenever I had a couple of questions. Could not ask for a better host. Hopefully will be able to check out all of their homes, eventually.

Dolly’s Cabin was wonderful, sitting by the fire and hanging out in the hot tub were our favorite part. Everything was nicely labeled so we knew what all the switches did and where to find supplies. Make sure to bring s’more supplies and a bathing suit and Dolly’s cabin has everything else.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Deer Forest. There were many things to do in the area that kept our family busy. The cabin was perfect for our group. We were able to relax and enjoy some great family time together. It was definitely a plus to have our fur babies with us. Our family is eagerly looking forward to another get together at Deer Forest!

After a long day hiking in the Shenandoah National Park, the hot tub was quiet nice. Dolly was very responsive and checked in to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. Would stay here again. Amazing cabin house! Love the play room the billiard is a bonus. Bathroom fantastic we enjoyed the bathtub hope it was connected to the master bedroom but overall it was fantastic and its huge. Fire pit outside amazing! Best part its close by the outdoor activities. Really close by the kayaking, tubing and everything. Thank you it was the best house ever!!

We really enjoyed staying at Dolly's house and it was so very convenient for our river rafting trip. Our group of 10 fit comfortably (we did bring an air mattress as extra options). The pool table was a big hit with the teenagers and the wrap around porch was a perfect place to unwind after a day of river adventure. Dolly was easy to connect with and made sure our stay was just right. We would recommend this house!
